The data controller for this website and waitlist is BW International Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14710927), registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@justaboat.com.

• Your email address (required).
• Whether you're a buyer, seller or broker.
• Your country, if you choose to tell us.
• The date you signed up and, if you arrived via a tagged link, which link it was.

To stop spam, we briefly process your IP address when you submit the form. We store only a one-way hashed version of it, and delete it within about 10 minutes. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

To send you one email when JustABoat launches — and, if you told us you're a seller or broker, to get in touch about listing your boat before launch. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing, and we don't send newsletters.

Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR), which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us — we'll remove you from the list. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.

We use two service providers who process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:

• Supabase — stores the waitlist database, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Vercel — hosts this website and runs the code that handles the signup form.

Where a provider transfers data outside the UK or EEA, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Until we've sent the launch email, and no longer than 12 months after launch. After that, we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive a copy of it. Email support@justaboat.com and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
